Acceptable use and AI content safety
What is not allowed on Shotify, how users should review generated content, and how to report misuse.
Purpose of this policy
Shotify helps users create and modify product and event image assets using uploaded images, instructions, and artificial-intelligence systems. This policy explains what is not allowed, how Shotify may respond to unsafe activity, and how users can report content or misuse.
This policy supplements the Terms and Conditions. If the two documents conflict, the Terms and Conditions apply to the extent permitted by law.
Content and conduct that are not allowed
You must not use Shotify to:
- create, upload, request, store, or distribute child sexual abuse material or sexual content involving a minor;
- sexualise, exploit, threaten, bully, harass, or target a person who is or appears to be a minor;
- create non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, or manipulated images of a person without the permissions required by law;
- impersonate a person or organisation, create deceptive deepfakes, or mislead people about whether an image is real, altered, or AI-generated;
- facilitate fraud, scams, phishing, forgery, identity theft, evasion of law enforcement, or other dishonest behaviour;
- generate or distribute credible threats, instructions for violent wrongdoing, terrorist propaganda, or content that encourages self-harm;
- create hateful or demeaning content targeting a person or group based on protected characteristics;
- make false or misleading product, health, safety, performance, endorsement, review, event, or customer claims;
- infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, moral, database, or other rights;
- upload another person’s photograph, personal information, logo, trademark, or confidential material without the required rights or consent;
- create content for a high-impact decision about a person, including employment, housing, education, credit, insurance, medical care, or legal rights, without appropriate independent review;
- upload malware or attempt to probe, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, extract, bypass safety controls, or access another user’s data; or
- use Shotify in violation of law, court order, Google Play rules, or another platform’s rules.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the images, prompts, instructions, personal information, likenesses, trademarks, and other content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit the material and use the resulting output.
You must review every Generated Content before publishing or relying on it. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, biased, similar to another output, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You must not use Shotify output as a substitute for legal, medical, financial, safety, regulatory, or other professional advice.
When law, advertising standards, or a platform requires disclosure, identify content that was created or materially modified using AI. Do not represent an AI-generated image as an authentic photograph, review, endorsement, customer experience, or product result when doing so would mislead people.
Reporting content or misuse
You can report offensive, unlawful, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited content through the in-app Report or Flag control where available. You may also contact [content safety email] with:
- a description of the concern;
- the relevant Shotify account or generation identifier, if available;
- the URL or screenshot of the content, if safe and lawful to share; and
- the reason you believe the content violates this policy or applicable law.
Do not send passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, or unnecessary personal information. We may request additional information, restrict access to reported material, preserve evidence, or refer serious matters to law enforcement or another competent authority where appropriate.
How we respond
Ipil Enterprises may refuse a request, block or remove Content, limit Credits or features, suspend an Account, terminate access, or report conduct when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, our systems, or our legal rights. We may use automated systems, human review, or service providers to detect fraud, security threats, unlawful material, policy violations, or misuse.
We do not guarantee that every violation will be detected before processing. A report does not guarantee removal, disclosure of another user’s information, or a particular outcome.
Updates
We may update this policy as Shotify, applicable law, platform rules, and safety practices change. The current version will be published at this URL with its effective date.
Publication checks. Confirm that the mobile app has a working in-app report or flag feature, moderation contacts are monitored, prohibited-content rules match the production safety system, and all generated-content disclosures are consistent with the app and Terms.
